After an 18-month-long development period, the introduction of new construction software, endless overtime, more than triple the amount of test time on spots all over the globe, as well as expanding our development team with Andreas Hanrieder, FLYSURFER has once again succeeded in raising the bar of high-performance kites, with the SPEED3.
The development team surrounding Armin Harich has touched all bases with the SPEED3. Depower, agility and stability have all been massively improved. Other details and internal structures have been further optimised.
Characteristics and Safety:
Oldschool, Racing, Big Air or lightwind cruising - the SPEED3 sets new standards and redefines "performance" and fun in all wind conditions.
The SPEED3 continues to emerge from the pack with legendary and unrivaled lightwind performance. Bar feeling is very direct, smooth and precise like no other kite in this class. Hangtime and butter-soft landings are unparalleled. It has never been this easy to land and learn new tricks, regardless of the wind conditions. Racers will also appreciate the improved windrange and increased upwind performance.
Stability has also grown to a previously unattainable level for this class, especially in strong, gusty winds. Thanks to the further refined Triple Depower System, the resulting windrange is simply unbelievable, with no compromises in safety.
The blowout function (flag-out safety) demanded a complete redesign, in order to cover the larger wind range. The tapered leading edge now permits excellent blowout of the SPEED3 on the FLS Safety with only 4 lines, with even better relaunch capabilities.

The entire kite is manufactured from our high-quality Silver Arrow cloth, which is almost half the weight of our 'standard' kite cloth. The Silver Arrow cloth radically increases canopy stability, turning speed and light wind performance of every kite in our line! An additional benefit is the unbelievable compact pack dimension making your DELUXE kite the ideal travel partner. DELUXE kites also perform exceptionally well in gusty conditions.

Each DELUXE-EDITION comes standard with the completely new developed INFINITY Bar to offer you the safest and best possible control bar out there. Regardless of how many rotations you jump, your lines will still untwist! The QR is slim and easy to activate on both sides. Ride safely with the 5th line (FDS ) safety or ride in suicide mode combining this with FDS . Furthermore the INFINITY Bar can be adjusted in length and has reduced bar thickness for even more comfort. INFINITY, pure safety!

"Considering there was hardly a breeze it flew suprisingly well. Once you get some apparent wind it just builds up speed and power very smoothly. Turning is also a lot better than previous speeds and takes a lot less effort to fly in low winds."

"Well where do i begin..... Andy got one of these in on demo and i was lucky enough to take it out on 2 seperate occasions 1) It was our demo day and the wind was nearly nonexistent max of 5-6 mph at the most and this thing got me moving without any struggle, it kept its shape and power through all the turns and even had enough to lift me off the floor and float for a couple of seconds! easy to set up and the launch is a little daunting on the first attempt, this thing just slowly increases in size as it inflates and the power just keeps coming! 2) on the second occasion i had this in 20-25mph winds and the only word to descibe this is INSANE!!! i was boosting jumps upto 20 feet in height and distance in excess of 50 feet so the float is unbelievable! at one point i was jumping over a friend of mine who was flying a 16.5 ion2 as i looked down at him i thought ION????? WHAT ION???? i thought the ion was amazing until i was attached to this! This is an awe inspiring piece of kit that boosts confidence and to help learn new moves you have plenty of time to do so until you land softly! In my opinion this is the kite for anyone looking to have the biggest rush and boost the biggest jumps and to look better than anyone else out there! fly safe and have fun!!!"
