Allgoodfun welcomes James Burgess to the team, name is James Burgess I'm 16 years old and have been Landboarding for 8 months now, flying Powerkites for 3 years and been totally obsessed by progression from the start! http://www.vimeo.com/9273230 (My first ever time on a Landboard filmed in February this year.)
Right now I attend Imberhorne Sixth form, I live in the land-locked area of East Grinstead and my local flying spot is Camber sands / Greatstone and regardless of the wind speed, direction or tide times I'm at the beach every weekend even in the pouring rain or the very rare Caribbean heat I'm down there every single weekend! I really live to kite and it is a huge part of my life, Its just a really good way to express myself I like to ride super powered up and use each kite right to the edge of its wind range before i size down. I get a lift down every weekend from a Buggier who also Kitekats! he has been a great friend to me through it all and has taught me alot. I'm also a regular member on a kiting forum Kite Buggies and Boards and everyone on there has also helped me progress with loads of good advice!
Right now I love trying unhooked tricks and love doing kiteloops!. I have met some really cool people through Kiting and I do love the social aspect of the land based Kiting, its really cool to chat to people on the beach who want to know more about it and just relax with friends showing off some new moves!
I guess you could say I don't do the conventional Landboarding moves, the surfing moves just really interest me and I like to try them out on land, personally I think everything looks a bit better when your unhooked! I like to ride really hard and push myself to learn new things like the handlepass and the kiteloop and I won't stop learning new things. I do still do some more normal tricks like the 360 and 720 as well as grabs and foot outs but I'm more in love with the kitesurfing moves! I Always just enjoy it, ride hard and have a good time wind or no wind every single weekend!
