Ged Brannan - Kitesurfer

 Kiting for me blends the experience of pushing myself to my limits with having a great laugh with friends.  The sport has grown in numbers incredibly in the last few years and the advances in technology have opened up the world of kitesurfing to the masses.  On a windy day at Camber Sands the sight of 40 or 50 kites in the air is quite something.  One of the great things for me about kitesurfing is that there are many different aspects of the sport to explore.  I love riding on my twin-tip and attempting a new move and pushing my jumps higher and higher.  More recently I've begun to revel in using my directional surfboard - which re-ignited my initial passion for getting out on the water.  This has been helped by week-long trips to Cape Town for the past few years, where the wind and waves seem to be available on tap.
